I spoke with a client who wanted her resume reworked. She said that in her job search, people were only sending her a certain type of job, which was not the type of job she was after. After reviewing her resume, I saw the reason: all of her experiences were directed towards that type of work!
When developing a resume, you want to set it up such that your skills and experiences are framed in a way that shows what you are looking for. The reality is most people lose out on jobs because they haven't expressed their skills in a way that elevates their potential. Word choice and structure can be game changers.
